A log cabin that kept everything worth keeping.
Stowe is an original log cabin brought forward without losing what made it worth keeping — white-painted exposed logs, a wraparound deck with string lights, an electric fireplace anchoring the main floor. It’s the cabin that feels most like a cabin, and that’s exactly the point.
Three bedrooms across three levels: main floor king, lofted king above, lower level queen. Two full bathrooms. The lower level has a 65” Smart TV, arcade machine, and game table alongside the bedroom — its own world once the night winds down. Full kitchen upstairs, starter pantry stocked. Outside: wraparound deck with string lights, hot tub under the covered lower deck (usable year-round), woodburning fire pit, propane grill.
Dogs welcome — up to 2, $100 pet fee, leashed on property. Pet welcome basket with treats and waste bags on arrival.
Named for Harriet Beecher Stowe. Her cabin is now a museum; this one still works. All Notestone guests have access to the shared game room across the property.

“The cabin is amazing — clean and very well stocked. We had a group of five plus a dog and had plenty of space for group activity and to spread out. They truly thought of everything. The community center was great. Even though it is a resort environment, our cabin was very private and peaceful. Stacey is a great host — very responsive. We had an issue with the power due to storms and she was proactive with an update. The special touch of a doggy basket with treats for the puppy was fantastic. We will definitely return!”
