Frost is a lofted tiny home for two - small on square footage, generous where it counts. Queen bed under the eaves, private hot tub on the deck, fire pit stocked and ready for the night ahead. It's one of four tiny homes at Notestone Reserve, our family-owned 14-acre property in Laurelville, Ohio.
The outdoor space is designed so each unit has its own private pocket - privacy panels around the hot tub and natural shrub and tree coverage between homes. Neighbors exist, but each space is your own. The shared game room is a short walk across the property when you want it, easy to skip when you don't.
One thing to know about the loft: the beam above the bed sits about 29 inches from the mattress. Lying down is perfectly comfortable - just sit up carefully. The loft staircase is standard tiny home construction: all to code, but the steps have an uneven rise. Most guests navigate it fine. If stairs are a mobility concern, Thoreau - our ground-level glass home - is worth a look instead.
Private hot tub (striped towels provided - hot tub and bath towels are kept separate). We’re switching to a 2-person oval hot tub in each tiny home, due to an Ohio state regulation change. The old tub sat 6 - generous for a home built for 2, but not exactly built for two. This one is.
Named for Robert Frost, whose best work was always about paying close attention to the woods around you.

"I honestly didn't kow what to expect going into this stay, but it exceeded everything I could've hoped for. Check-in was seamless. The hot tub was already hot and ready, which was a huge plus. I especially loved the stove - we brought plenty of food and were able to cook and enjoy meals without any hassle. "The cabin was super close to Hocking Hills and all the hiking spots. We really enjoyed the outside porch and fire pit. The cabin had everything we could have ever wanted, including extra toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and everything else we might have forgotten. There was even firewood for the pit. The game room was also great - we arrived a bit early and spent some time there, which was really nice."
