Two king bedrooms, a murphy bed, and a lower level that works for everyone.
Sherwood is laid out across two levels — a main floor king bedroom and a lower level king bedroom, plus a queen murphy bed in the lower level living room. Two full bathrooms, one on each level, both with showers. The murphy bed setup makes the lower level flexible: sitting room by day, sleeping space by night (murphy bed must be operated by an adult).
The lower level is set up for the long evening: king bedroom, 65" Smart TV, arcade machine, and game table — plus the queen murphy bed in the lower level living area when you need the extra sleeping space. Main floor also has its own Smart TV. Outside: covered deck, hot tub under the covered lower deck (usable year-round), woodburning fire pit, propane grill.
Dogs welcome $100 flat per stay, up to 2 dogs, leashed on property. Pet welcome basket on arrival. The layout works especially well for two couples or a family where the adults want their own floor.
4WD/AWD strongly recommended in winter months. All Notestone guests have access to the shared game room across the property.

Named for Sherwood Anderson, the Ohio-born writer whose work found the extraordinary inside the ordinary lives of small-town America. He grew up in this part of the country. It seemed right.
